Just a few numbers. I am hoping to meet you in this club at the end of the summer. One day a tank at over 100 mpg! OK it is a big dream but it has been done and why not me!!!

Hmm, a couple of outliers from the top there. Here's mine, to balance it out:

From Jan 05 to Apr 06:
Distance: 10403 miles
Average efficiency: 41.7 mpg[US] (best tank 48.0, worst 33.1)

I'd be interested to know what kind of driving those of you averaging >55mpg are doing.

Odometer : 55,624 km (34,563 miles)
LT FC : 4.188 L/100km (56.2 MPG)

KMO, I think it is the warm climate in my case. Most of my commutes are in the early morning and late evening. Temp. around 26°C ~ 30°C (79°F ~ 86°F), so no A/C is required. Beside this, I also try all the tricks & techniques available in this forum and elsewhere to reduce my FC.
