The marathon team did 110 mpg and 1,397 miles last summer, so this is the world record even done by a single driver. The previous record by single driver was 1,372 miles by Nobu@Osaka in Japan. http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=19858&hl= The displayed mileage was 49.1km/L (115 mpg). She put 49.13 liter (12.99 US gallons), calc mileage was 47.69 km/L (112 mpg). Ken@Japan ![]() |

The ICE warming up count was 75, therefore the average drive distance was 31.2 km (19.4 miles). Anyway, it is very very amazing! http://eshy.s22.xrea.com/cgi-bin/c-board/c...6632;id=epv1710 (Reported Japanese forum) Ken@Japan |

Does she have any specific techniques (beyond pulse&glide)? How often do people behind her honk? (wait Japan is a very polite land, maybe that helps!) |
