I did a search and got too much unwanted information.

My OEM tires are entering old age.

I want to replace with following criteria:

1. cheap
2. have a high max. p.s.i. rating.
3. I am not at all interested in performance of any kind. My other car is a 1964 Plymouth Belvedere with four wheel drum brakes and over two tons. I will drive within the limits of the car I am in.

Comparing to OEM which I found on internet for $67 to my door and I would have Pepboys mount at $18 each for a total of $85 each.

OEM size is 185/65 15 and max psi of 44

So does anybody know of a cheaper deal and please tell the max PSI if you can?

Thank you.

Nothing is wrong with 44 but higher would be better. I'm not as picky about psi as price. If there is a $50 tire with 42 max PSI I will choose that over a $70 tire with 54 max PSI.
