I could capture that picture some time in the future. The idea was simply to show that this screen can actually occur and it looks amazing. Trying to imply that it was awesome going up also was not the intent. You can see what the average mileage on that tank overall was on the bottom of the screen if you want some "fairness" indicator.

It was a partial record of 112 mpg/tank driving on relatively flat road by Teddy_Girl. http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=23380&hl= Ken@Japan | |

My Car: 2006 Prius Package: #8 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 2 | Here's my runner-up photo to the OP's photo (considering the photo Ken posted isn't his own) :![]() This was after descending into Yosemite Valley from the Tuolumne Meadows area. Total miles shown (92) is the distance from the town of Mammoth Lakes. The Tioga Pass climb was a heck of a climb, got my mpgs down from an average of 48-49 to about 42-43. I think the descent more than made up for it. Overall the tank averaged at over 50mpg considering all the descents and climbs. I faked out my dad (he, my mom, my brother and my brother's wife rode in my dad's Honda Pilot) by telling him that the trip to Yosmite had totally screwed up my mpgs. I told him my average was now 58.5 when we all arrived at the Ahwahnee Lodge. Nearing the top of the Tioga Pass...down to 1 or 2 purple bars by this point... ![]() |
