How's this for 30 minutes of consumption bars. Don't think it can get any better than this With plenty of power regenerated on top of the gas mileage. Gotta love the Colorado mountain descents.

I bet it's not such a pretty picture getting up to the top so you can make that descent! Be fair and post them both

Nope, not so pretty, but surprisingly not bad. Battery was down to one bar pretty quickly and stayed there. It was still around 20 - 25 MPG which was far better than every other car out there I'm guessing.

I could capture that picture some time in the future. The idea was simply to show that this screen can actually occur and it looks amazing. Trying to imply that it was awesome going up also was not the intent. You can see what the average mileage on that tank overall was on the bottom of the screen if you want some "fairness" indicator.

Joking . We've all seen enough of the low bar screens in our daily driving, so no need to post that. And From the drive you described I actually am surprised at how high your avg is. Seems like if I have to stop once for a toll booth in 2 hours of highway driving it brings my avg for the trip down by a point or two, so I bet a mountain ascent is pretty draining.

Makes me want to drive the I-80 descent into Salt Lake City. That's a nice long downhill, few curves and 3+ lanes.

It looks like the Hex code for red to me.

It's not mine.
It was a partial record of 112 mpg/tank driving on relatively flat road by Teddy_Girl.

That is the hex for red A few clever (read: nerdy) folks have figured that one out already! I only wish it was my real license plate. That or an amateur radio operator plate because it has a lightning bolt on it:

Maybe I should brush up on my morse code and take that test!

Here's my runner-up photo to the OP's photo (considering the photo Ken posted isn't his own) :
Click the image to open in full size.

This was after descending into Yosemite Valley from the Tuolumne Meadows area. Total miles shown (92) is the distance from the town of Mammoth Lakes. The Tioga Pass climb was a heck of a climb, got my mpgs down from an average of 48-49 to about 42-43. I think the descent more than made up for it. Overall the tank averaged at over 50mpg considering all the descents and climbs. I faked out my dad (he, my mom, my brother and my brother's wife rode in my dad's Honda Pilot) by telling him that the trip to Yosmite had totally screwed up my mpgs. I told him my average was now 58.5 when we all arrived at the Ahwahnee Lodge.

Nearing the top of the Tioga Pass...down to 1 or 2 purple bars by this point...
