Can it really take this long?

I am at 13K, and have now reached about 47 MPG. I have have the heavier unsprung weight combo. But it wasn't until about 1 month ago, that I seem to have averaged about 4MPG more, doing nothing different. It seems like this car, has hit a break in, "happy period". I am surprised at better mileage this late in the game.

Many drivers notice two "breaks", at about 6K miles and 20K miles. Maybe you're just a late bloomer. Congratulations on good milage, however it happens!
