Hi all,

I would like to report that Kazu@Tochigi achived 1,562 miles/tank (2,513 km).
The computer mileage was 104.2 mpg (44.3 km/L).

His previous world record was...
1,467 miles/tank http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=24799&hl=

Please note that Japanese Prius tank has no bladder and can hold up to about 15.9 US gallons, 60 liters.

Realizing that sometimes large numbers and distances are difficult to conceptualize, I have created this comparison:

From New York City to Dallas, TX = 1,546 miles.

I don't really like these distance records too well because all you really have to do is get a bigger tank or stuff more gas into the current tank. Don't get me wrong I still think this is awesome because this guy still got over 100mpg on this tank. What I would like to see is 120+mpg on a tank. I want to see bigger MPG more than bigger distance numbers.

And yeah 37C? Damn thats hot.

Do you have any average speeds? Average distance? Technique used and at what speeds?

I was not aware of this, this may sound naive but what does it have instead?

is there a reason?
