I really have to wonder. I know my Prius is new, but I figure it was broken in around 1000, and the mileage has skyrocketed without changing driving habits significantly. Before 1000, about 42 mpg was the best I could do. At 1800 I am getting very close to the magic 50. Does anyone know if the computer adapts to your driving style, and adapts its programming of switching electric boost based on what it learns?

I don't know about AI, but there is some sort of "training" that it goes through based upon driving style.

Or more likely you adapted to the Prius.
