My Car: 2008 Prius Package: #2 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | i was wondering if the prius was good for 1 mile driving... yea i could walk but i have class after work.. which is why i need to drive.... can't waste time to walk to work and back to house then drive to school... |

So what we've done is, not the scooter, but pretty much starting this Fall simply take the Muni and/or walk, the problem is the hills are murderous with groceries, so one must wait for the Muni. We've got a rhythm down now, but lost time waiting is still time, considering all things we're cool with it.

A block heater might help too, but the cost tradeoffs for preheat vs. a short trip might shift a bit from the usual... . _H* |
