How much is 1 gal of gas in your area.

Don't know why NJ has no self-serve. Every so often the gas station owners try to get it passed but they can't. Gas here is now about $3.27 - $3.29 per gallon. I filled up last Thursday for $3.09. Incidentally I hope we never go self-serve because we'll be paying our full-serve price for self-serve.

2 weeks ago regular was $3.02 now it is $3.28 (at the same place)

Baker CA $4.049 a gallon. It cost me $44.00 to fill up the Prius!!!!!!

$3.65 a gallon today. Cost me $65 to fill up my VW Van, around lunch time, ouch! Just put $30 worth of gas in my Honda Civic this morning. Don't need any for the Prius, filled it up on Sunday!

Ouch holy crap ! That sure sounds like nothing now, but we have to start somewhere because one day they won't get 1 barrel of oil out of Saudi.... I prefer to visualise what 14m barrels would look like stacked up... anyone got any ideas for this ?

Don't confuse them! They are Americans and their gallon is 3.78 litres, not 4.5

In Italy it's just over $8 a gallon (€1.37 a litre)

Here in Maplewood New Jersey it was 3.02 for regular last week but this week it jumped to 3.29.

About 5 days ago, gas jumped overnight from $3.19 to $3.45. In the last day or two, it has started to edge down-was around $3.41 last night when I checked. This is for 89 octane E10-add about another dime a gallon for straight 87 octane gas. Funny how it never seems to drop in price as dramatically as it rises.

I have noticed that the price of gas and diesel are starting to converge in my area (midwest). In late winter/early spring, diesel had an $.80 premium over gas. It's down to about a $.60 premium.
