My Car: 2008 Prius Package: #3 Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 1 |  Tracking my MPG - prius12306 I just filled my car for the first time since I bought it 2 weeks ago. I came in at 47.1 MPG and only have a total of 423 miles on it. I'm loving it! I am off on a long trip this weekend which is almost all highway driving of 65 MPH. I plan to keep it at 68 MPH. I'm still not sure how good the mileage will be as the trip is over the mountains of upstate NY and into Canada. I'll post back the next results. |

I pretty much keep my speed around 68 mph on the highway with a few small up and down hills. Sometimes I tend to pickup speed downhill, but then I'm not using any gas...this Prius is awesome! I'm also interested to know how your mpg came out to be after your trip North. |

The car did great on those long climbs and made up for it coming down the other side. I managed an overall average for the tank of 48.2 MPG. 439 miles on this tank. Brings my lifetime average up to 47.7 MPG. |
