The goal is to have as few exchanges as necessary by using the "glide" instead of the "coast". It's certainly good to recapture energy that in a conventional car would be lost otherwise. But in my striving for maximum fuel economy I've never tried to see how many I can get. I pride myself on how few I get. |

I have to recharge the battery getting ready for the 39 mph 0 rpm driving! But on the whole you dont want a lot of them as normal course. |
