Friends: 0 | Assuming that it's like the 2005, if you want the DICE to display text on the MFD, the 3rd and 4th switch should be in the OFF position. If you want faster initialization, but no display, the 3rd and 4th switch should be in the ON position. The first two switches are the Car Configuration Switches and are not currently active. |

Friends: 0 | Actually I think for a 2006 you need to set the second dip switch of the car config switch. You'd need to call DICE or search here to confirm the setting. Mine didn't work till I called DICE and they told me the setting was not in the manual. It was being added when they print the next round of manuals. Ken |

Friends: 0 | Interesting. I wonder if that's part of the problem people are having with the DICE in a 2006; that the setting for the Car Config switches in a 2006 isn't in the manual. |

Friends: 0 | Well, I tried every configuration possible with the four dip switches and in every case the steering wheel functions worked properly but I did not get the names of the songs on the MFD. I am supposed to get the song names aren't I? |

Friends: 0 | In my 2005, I have the name of the song (when TITLE was pushed) in D1-D4. When it was in D1, I see TITLE, ARTIST and ALBUM. |

Friends: 0 | The guys at DICE sent me this email to resolve the issue: "Disconnect the black DICE module box from the rectangular connector and flip the switches into the following position from left to right: UP, DOWN, UP, UP. [-_] [--] Then reconnect the DICE module. It must be disconnected and reconnected so that the DICE module recognizes the change and resets. Also reset your iPod by holding the center and middle buttons if you have a click-wheel. Let me know if you need any further assistance. Thank You" |

'04 Prius with the JBL stereo, NAV, and I've "Y'd" in my XM. I'm getting the Ipod to work, XM works, but no text display on the MFD. I tried the up/down/up/up setting and it didn't work, I've tried all off, I've tried 1&2 on with 3&4 off....but no dice (pun intended0. Quick help appreciated while I mess around with registering before I can get tech support.

Friends: 37 | After disconnecting everything and reconnecting with the DIP switches all in the up/off position I think things are working....I'll need to play some more to be sure. I'm not clear on how you can see the play lists as it seems to be showing just the album and song on my display....but, like I said, more 'playing around' is in order. |
