Ignore the splash screen since it was for a contest. My normal splash screen is actually the same as the MFD.


As you can see, it's on the lower left side of the windshield. It's a bit of a stretch but at least I can see it more easily than if it was mounted higher on the windshield.

Also, when it's plugged in, I can run the wire underneath the steering wheel rather than have it dangle from the air if it was higher up on the windshield.

I've got mine mounted on the arm rest. I disabled the use of the first cup holder, and put the tomtom there. It makes for easier navigation, and quicker input into the machine. Also, it keeps it out of plain sight, and doesn't obstruct my view in any way.
