Simplest way is to buy a 12volt socket, and wire it directly to the battery with a fuse.

Since the 12V battery is under the cargo floor.

something like this:
Drill a 1 in. and 7/16 or 3/4 hole some where there is space. I used the spare tire tie downs cubby.

Use a blade fuse holder and a spare blade to plug into the battery distribution box. There is an unused male blade in the distribution box in the 05. In this picture I used a 10A fuse with stranded 18 AWG wire.
