Why the small battery icon atop the hybrid main battery?

I noticed the small battery icon atop the hybrid icon in the Energy screen. Apparently meant to represent the 12V battery. Does is function, i.e. change bar colors when the 12V is getting weak?

Huh? Got a picture with an arrow showing what you're describing?
AFAIK the only battey icon is the HV battery icon...there's a little battery post gray thing on top, but that's just a cute way to represent that the bars are for the battery...not a seperate 12v battery.
