Default "Next Candidate" voice command

Those with the Bluetooth phone know that the 'Dial By Name' command can be used with phonebook entries that have a voice tag attached to them. According to the manual, when that phonebook entry has multitple phone numbers, a "Next" button will appear when that entry's voice tag is stated, allowing the ability to select an alternate phone number for that enty, ie: home,cell,work...
The voice command "next candidate" is also supposed to accomplish this.

Well, for me it doesn't. When an enty has multiple numbers, and I dial by name, the "next" button and "next candidate" voice command take me to the next entry in the phonebook with a voice tag. Not the alternate phone numbers for the original entry.

Does anyone else have this experience.?

Page 185-186 in the manual explains this, but it don't work that way for me........
