Default What IS? Lock Pick?

I can not figure out exactly what this thing does. I have a 2007 package 2... it doesn't have GPS or bluetooth. if i purchase the Ultimate Lockpick 3, will it turn all that stuff on?? I do NOT have a gray menu item of a phone book, or anything like that... i also do NOT have the aux input in the console (i only have and elec. outlet there).

I tried to email them several times, but as you all know, they do not respond. sigh... also, if i do purchase it, i would like to have someone install it. does anyone know of a place in Los Angeles that installs it?

thanks so much.. this is a great forum! i've done a lot of research on here!

Hey Chris .... sorry, I can't help you on the functionality of this product. However, does it not worry you that the maker will not even return an e-mail message? I mean, how well are they going to support said product if they won't even get back to you when you are considering buying?

Good luck ................ but I would stay clear of a company with such a poor reputation.

Your signature says you have a package #3. But if you don't have Bluetooth then I guess you don't have #3.

No, the Lockpick cannot give you Bluetooth or GPS or anything like that. If that's what you need, buy a GPS unit with Bluetooth (Nuvi 660, for example).

BTW, the pink leather is totally wicked! Where did you get them??

Their products are very popular here, but you have to weigh your potential grief against vs. potential benefit. My grief with them was great. Good luck if you decide to proceed, but have your eyes wide open.

ah-ha! thank-you all for the info! you certainly give better customer service than the lockpick folks....

pink leather is only available to 'princesses'... ha-ha!! no, actually, i got it through the dealer, they went to the after market place that they always use. when my dealer showed me the swatches that were available... i was sort disappointed (so boring!)... and asked if there were other colors available.
'what color do you want' he asked me.
'pink... ballet slipper pink'
GASP!
'are you sure you want to do that?' he asked me, 'what if you decide to sell it in a year or 2 and buy a new one?'
'no problem', i replied, 'after all... i live in west hollywood!'

thanks again...
