Friends: 0 | Hi all, does anyone have any idea if I'd be able to install this: in place if the factory CD player in a '06, no-Nav, no-JBL? Or any other double din unit, for that matter... ?Thanks! Last edited by azzieo; 01-11-2009 at 09:57 PM. |

Friends: 1 | doubtful. the head unit in a toyota prius acts as a master to all the slave devices, like the cd players, and all things AV LAN. a better idea would be to keep the factory radio, and to keep it running, but add another radio on top of that, i think that is what people are doing i am reasonably sure you need to keep the radio. on prius cars equipped with navigation, the navigation, takes over the role of master |

Friends: 0 | I replaced the factory head unit with a double-din kenwood with nav etc. No problem. You may need a resistor on some wire to keep the MFD happy, the pros already know which one. |

If the first, how's it working with Climate, Trip and other native screens that it can NOT take out of AC or Engine ECU? | |
