Fitting an Amp to 07 base Prius?

Hi everyone,
Congratulations on a very helpful site,

Im about to fit this amp to my 07 Prius

(replace *** with www)

Its the base model prius Without the JBL system.

ive done this on other cars but i have some small questions for the prius

Connecting the +12v and Ground arnt a problem
But where would you recommend i tap the Switched +12v Trigger wire to?

and where should i tap the audio signal from to feed the amp?

A lot of people, myself included, have tapped the Accessory power from the port located in the center console. If you open up the console, and remove the mat at the bottom, you will gain access to the screws that hold the console in place, and you should be able to tap the port easily.

ah yes didnt think of that, thats not hot (on) all the time. Nice one

is there a low level audio output for this amp i got here,
Or could i tap from the rear speaker you think?

When i fit this lot, i will post pics
