Question Bluetooth mute/unmute - display only shows "Talking" and doesn't show the unmute option

I take long conference calls on my phone with the Prius bluetooth connection. I place the phone on mute fine with the dash screen. But if I display another screen like "climate", and go back to Audio for the phone controls, all is see is "Talking" with no buttons available to unmute or re-mute the phone if I wish to speak. What options do I have for unmuting myself?

Press the off-hook button to go back to the telephone screen and you'll see the options available for use while driving (including mute/unmute).

They really should have put the mute/unmute command on the steering wheel.
