Friends: 0 | Hello, Does anyone know if there is a kit available to receive Sirius and "The Best of XM" what will connect to the Prius's display? I currently have installed the SiriusPrius option in my2005 Prius, which is fine, but it's not compatible with XM radio. -Scott |

i ordered my Prius with the satellite receiver but it was delivered without the dealer sent the satellite rep to my office and they installed an aftermarket kit , and it works seamlessly with the vehicles display and controls try calling your toyota dealer and ask for the contact info for their satellite rep if that fails, PM me and i'll do my best to search around for the information | |

Friends: 0 | Go to Sirius.com, and select any Dock-and-Play radio (except the new MiRGE, which is designed to receive all of both Sirius and XM progamming). Then go to Amazon and get a Directed Electronics TOYSC1 and a SCVDOC1 Plug & Play vehicle dock. My Stratus 4 lives in the center console (The TOYSC1 is tucked to the right of the glovebox). Works for me. Last edited by pdhenry; 10-25-2009 at 08:40 PM. |

Friends: 0 | Could any one who has experience with XM in the Prius give me some advice, please? I have a 2005, and it does not come with the auxiliary jack that would allow me to get XM, which also means I have no ability to listen to the ipod on the iphone, either. I saw reports of the XM Skydock, which supposedly plugs in to the auxiliary (in cars that have them). My question is, does any one have experience with these in GenII Prii? Previously, in looking around, what seemed to be the case was that I could have the auxiliary jack put in and get XM, or get the I-tunes on the I-pod, each of which cost about $350, and to do both cost about $800. Or something like that; the point was that it was costly to do one, and even more costly to do both. Bottom line: any info about the Skydock? Does it work with P-II's? Does having an auxiliary solve the problem and make it work? Please, also, no comments about doing it yourself . . . I don't even want to go there, I don't have the talent! Thanks |
