Friends: 0 | UK Spec GenII's do not have the 12v socket mounted on the lower dash panel, only the one fitted in the centre console. I'm planning to fit two sockets on the panel where US spec models have theirs fitted but have two questions. 1. How is that panel removed? 2. Is there a convenient 12v feed I can tap into for the two sockets? I will be adding fuse protection but as we don't have the existing socket I wondered if there was an easy to reach/locate 12v supply or will I need to run one from the glovebox? TIA
