Hey Everyone.

I have been going through all the posts on 2004-2005 Prius HID and various misaligments. I too think my headlights are aimed too low.

My question is how can one be sure before they go to the dealer? Is there a spec on how far in front of the car the beams should hit or a "how high on a flat wall from a fixed distance spec". After reading all the posts, I don't want to go waste time and money at the dealership unless there truly is a problem.

If no one knows of such a spec, then can anyone with functioning HID headlights post about how far in front of the car their beams hit or something else that I could use to compare mine to?

Thanks!

- Joe
