I have been using voice recognition on the 2006 navigation system. Commands such as FM1, FM2, CD all work. However, when I say "AM", the sytem responds with "AM radio", but it does not switch over to AM radio, it did nothing. Anyone having the same problem?

Yes, I see the same. I sat down and went through many of the voice commands from the john1701a.com Pruis user guide and found "AM radio" doesn't select the AM radio.

Perhaps this is a crazy thought, but have you tried saying "AM Radio"?

Both "AM"and "AM Radio" are recognized, and the "AM Radio" overlay label is displayed on the MFD, but the screen doesn't switch to the AM radio display.

Same problem on my 2006. Just found out today trying to get it to switch to AM and listen to traffic.

Check out this other thread on the same topic... it appears the issue may be related to build date. People with build dates of 11/2005 experience the problem but it seems those with 12/2005 build dates work fine.
