Frequently, when starting my 2005 Prius I get 4 warning lights that stay on once the car is started: 1. The red brake light, 2. The "Take me to my dealer" light, 3. The ABS light, and 4. The VSC light.

When I took the car in the service rep said the problem was probably a loose gas cap. When I picked up the car they were uncertain if it was repaired. The computer codes were not definitive and the gas cap was tight.

The problem was resoved for two weeks. It's now back. Anyone else with this problem?

take it back and make sure they send it to the diagnostic guy, not the brakes guy. if it's intermittent, like you say every 2 weeks or so, they may want it for a couple days to reproduce the problem themselves.

loose gas caps cause check engine lights.

and lastly, how can they give a car back if they don't know it's fixed??? argh!

So...are you talking about the parking brake warning light? Mine is on (new post today) in the yellow mode and I was curious about the meaning of "yellow" [as opposed to "red"]. Mine is an '06 model. The manuals for these things leave something to be desired...too much "take it to the dealer" with no real explanation. Toyota could take a lesson from BMW about providing technical information in the manual!!!
