Friends: 0 | Thanks for this post... That parts shop is within a mile of my house! I bought my prius at around 32k miles, it's now at 53k miles. It will be interesting to see what the air filter has accumulated this evening. OH!!! and I can only imagine what kind of unusual veggies let you know that filter was yours Quote:

Friends: 0 | I found a mouse nest in mine today...arghhh! I can't believe it was actually letting air pass through this winter! The amount of fluff and acorns in the compartment was amazing. It actually filled it, and I had to pull the fluff through the filter slot a little at a time until I could dislodge the main piece of fluff. I had to clean mouse droppings off the plastic filter holder...it was a genuine Toyota Part, could be the attraction for the mouse? |

Friends: 12 | A lot of vehicles attract rodents, not just the Prius. Let's hope the rodents haven't been exercising their teeth on the wiring harness |

Friends: 0 | Has anyone used the filter from the place in Salt Lake? My husband is usually only willing to buy genuine Toyota parts but I think that this one would be just as good. I just have to convince him. |

Friends: 0 | I just installed some that I ordered from Utah - SLC, I think...fortunately my Sienna uses the identical filter also. Not much to say other than it looks the same as the Toyota filter, and fit just fine. Doesn't strike me there is much you can do wrong with what must be a 10 cent paper filter. All indications are its working fine! |

Friends: 8 | Did my first in-dealer inspection including an oil change & lube. 45k KM's. I had them change the air filter. It set me back an additional 70$. Last time I'm ever doing that. |
