I am picking up my new prius this week and want to drive it 6 hrs a day for 2 days on the highway less than two weeks later. Is this a problem?

Yeah what galaxee said. Just don't squish on the brake pedal too much until about your 3rd tank of gas. There really aren't any hybrid car specific break-in limitations says I, but brakes is brakes.

I picked up my Prius almost 2 years ago (August) in Helena Montana and drove it home to Olympia Washington. It is a 10 hour drive over 4 mountain passes. The car preformed flawlessly and has continued to do so after 30k miles. Just drive it. Remember the computers control the Engine not you. The RPM will continuously vary during the trip. Do not accelerate aggressively, or break aggressively unless necessary for safety.
