Just got my magnetic gray #4 last night...Noticed everything seems to work except the two small vanity lights above the sunvisors...Tried following user manual's idea of putting them up, then down and then trying the lights, but neither work. All other lights that I can see are working...Any ideas.

A resent post gave the following information. You must have the mirror door open on the visor, the switch to "on" and then they will light only when the visor is at the angle you would use to see in the mirror. Put the visor toward the windshild or the roof and the light goes out. If you have tried this and it still doesn't work you must have gotten dead bulbs!

Hope you enjoy your new car!

YES! Mine did the same thing. Open the little mirrors on the visors and the vanity lights should work.

Yup. I mean, it's smart enough to know you only need the light when you use the mirror.

Or in other words... Actually USE the mirror, with the light on... and suddenly they'll work. If not, you probably need LEDs.

Also, this is another lawyer-imposed restriction - the driver's side vanity light will not come on unless the car is in park. How the heck are you supposed to get an eyelash out of your eye at 70mph in rush hour traffic if you can't use the vanity light? Holding a flashlight in your mouth (while steering with your knees so you can use both hands (one to hold the eyelid up while you fish out the eyelash with the other hand)) makes you drool, and that can make a mess on the cellphone tucked in your shoulder...

Thanks everyone...real simple...Put the visors down, turned on the switch AND opened the mirror cover and presto...they worked...Such a simple fix, but very hard if you don't know it....Thanks again.

You can leave the switch on all the time. I didn't know that the driver's only worked in PARK. Guess I won't be able to shave during my commute <_<

Not so bad. Think of all those "close shaves" you'll avoid.
