It requires a hookup (easier with the 2006 and the rear camera), but after that you can connect a DVD player and have the display show the movie.

If it were me, I'd just get a porable DVD player as I don't want a movie monopolizing the MFD (plus it's illegal).

Thanks, for the info. I have a 2006 prius. Is this something I can do myself? I only use it when I am stationary.

Hi doc!! and Welcome......... I know this question has been asked and was a subject of a thread not too very long ago. I can't find it now, but try the search feature. When i'm not on the PDA i'll try to find it as well and post a link for you, but I know the answer is yes, it can be done. It is not illegal in every state, as I know it is not illegal here in North Carolina. Perhaps many other states it is though, i dont know. I dont recall how it was done, but it was included in that thread.

Good luck!! If you find it first, please post the link for other who may see your post!!! thanks!!

http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=16560&hl= talks about doing this. Also, take a look at http://www.evnut.com/prius_mfd_video.htm and scroll to the bottom.
