I know wipers are talked about in another topic, however, I'm interested only in winter performance. AKA, snow and ice locking up the baldes and coating the glass. I was wondering if anyone has tried the Everblades or Hotshot units from Sigma Automotive. They look like they would help a lot on those blizzard condition drives we get around here in the comming months. If they can help with that, they are worth the cost to me. I hate not being able to see well just because of a little snow.

can't help you on winter wipers, but I just read about a new invention that I believe is on the market: an aftermarket heating kit for your windshield washer fluid. it takes heat from the engine.

The hotshot unit heats the fluid as well, though it is electrical. I was wondering if someone here had tried it or the Everblades (heated wiper blades) on a Prius.
