The instructions are hidden somewhere in the manual but I just did an oil change this weekend.

To reset do as follows:

1) Power down with car in ODO mode (as opposed to trip A / trip B
2) While pressing and holding the ODO button under the MFD (Multi Function Display), hit the Power Button twice WITHOUT you foot on the brake. Do not press the button too fast or else the computer will not recognize the separate pushes. What you should see is a bunch of lines where the miles usually appear under the speedometer. One by one they will go out until after about 5 seconds the Odometer will show a bunch of zeros and the Maintenance Req'd light should also go out.
3) Power Down and you are done

It would be much easier if the navigation screen had a section for configuring basic functions which would allow you to do this plus several other things, like resetting the maintenance required light.

Oops, I meant to say like turning off the reverse beep.
