Friends: 0 | My son decided to use the remote as a teether and now the unlock button doesn't seem to depress, or is stuff depress, I've opened the remote and removed the battery. Does anyone know if it can be dissassembled any further. I need to get to the buttons or remove the rubber that covers them somehow. Any Ideas, I didn't want to start without knowing if there was an easy way to do this. Thanks |

Friends: 37 | I don't think you have anything to lose by taking it further apart. Someone, a while back, took one apart to trim away as much excess plastic as possible to reduce the overall size. If you can't figure a way to get the buttons to work you'll have to buy a new one anyway. That said, do you have the SKS? (your profile doesn't list your car model) If so the fob should work fine...I rarely use the buttons anyway. |

Friends: 0 | Got any info on how to take it apart further, I can't seem find the next peace that needs to come off after the battery is remove, I couldn't find the article on the person who dissected one. |
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Me either! I walk to the car, unlock, open & drive without taking the SKS out of my pocket. When I leave the car to do some shopping, I press one of the three black buttons on the outside. The only time I take the SKS out of my pocket, is to use the house key that is attached to it. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(fphinney @ Jan 22 2007, 08:39 PM) </div> Quote:
