Friends: 0 | Soon after we purchased our Prius last year I managed to get the fuse box, under the hood, open. I thought I had fixed the process in my mind but have now forgotten how I did it. I would appreciate some step-by-step instructions on the process of getting the fuse box open, please. |

Friends: 0 | On the bottom (very short) edge there's a catch in the middle which you can depress to release that edge. Then it hinges upwards. Once you've found the catch, it comes away easily - if you're forcing it at all, you haven't found the catch yet. |

Friends: 10 | Darn it guys, you gave away the secret too easily. I was going to write a long, involved procedure that started with "First remove the left tail light assembly..." and went forward from there. Tom |

Well I finally got the cover off this afternoon. I discovered that the latch on the front, short end of the cover, has to be depressed to unlatch it. Then the latches at the rear end come undone as the cover comes off. I preacticed it several times so I hope that I will remember when I really need to get it off. Thanks for all the help. | |
