is it just me?

when lowering the rear windows, the wind noise really sounds bad and
it almost makes the stereo inaudible., kind of a rapid fluttering effect


its fine with the front windows

The same with mine.

Although, it's nowhere near as bad as other cars I've driven. But virtually all four door cars have that fluttering noise to some degree. Mostly, it's unbearable.

I think that low rumble-flutter is worse in a Prius than other cars. Air flows so smoothly over the Prius, when only the rear windows are open it creates a vacuum in the cabin. Car's with more turbulent flow don't create as good a vacuum, so less noise. Opening a front window a crack stops it.
