Friends: 0 | My college aged son called, I hit the bottom hard as I came over the curb. There was not much scrapping. I eased it off. I see no damage, but now my ears are hypersensitive to any new sound, and I may be imagining that it is now pulling to the right.Anyone know of what areas to be most concerned about? i'm thinking about getting it put up on a rack and taking a look. As if I'd know what to look for. Any thoughts? By the way, the links to do a few tricks are: http://www.wikihow.com/Override-Toyota-Pri...gation-Gray-out http://www.wikihow.com/Disable-Reverse-Bee...-a-Toyota-Prius |

Friends: 0 | The underside is pretty tough. I've been across a fire road over the Cajon summit in SoCal and had all kinds of crap hit the bottom of the car. The only real danger is if you bend any of the control rods or A-arms of the suspension. All of the delicate lines are recessed and really hard to hit. You probably just bent the crap out of the welding flange that holds the outer skin panels. And probably a scrape across the A-arms. To really be sure though you should probablky jack it up and take a look. |

Friends: 60 | Hi EarthCare, welcome to PriusChat. If you think your car may be pulling, have the alignment looked at by the dealer. It's not a bad thing to have your alignment checked anyway since many Prius are delivered with bad or marginal wheel alignment and you can get it done once for free in the first 12 months. |

Free or not, I should get it checked. I bought "pre-owned," so it won't be free, and probably all the more reason I should check it. Thanks for the suggestion. | |
