Friends: 0 | I was wondering if anyone bought the sun shades from the store and how they liked them? Are there other ones out there that aren't quite so pricey? Thanks ;-) |

I have one and it is quite nice, I like it alot. However, it has devloped a sag in the center of it. I think Evan here has devloped a mod to it in order to increase it's rigidness. Do a search of sunshade, I'm sure you will find some info. | |

Friends: 7 | I have all six. (had to buy the front and back side windows separately). I don't use any of them. I use a foldable front shade and nothing else. Too much of a hassle. If I were parked for a long period of time outside I might put them in. Like I left the car in my parents' driveway and took a trip. But I own a garage and they are just too much of a hassle. Might even sell them on eBay. It is the one Prius accessory I would not buy again. |

Friends: 0 | I have had mine for 10 months now and use it about once a week, It has held up very well and fits perfect ! In Arizona you want as much window covered as possible, this does the trick, but it is a bit of a hassle to fit in, like it takes all of about 30 seconds........... |

Friends: 0 | The Parts store at my Toyota dealership sells the type that are two separate pieces which you strap to the visors of the driver and passenger side. They are folded up and add just a little bit of thickness to the visors when not in use. Very convenient since you don't have to worry about stowing them away anywhere. To use, you just fold them out one at a time. Even though they're not for the Prius specifically, they still do a great job of protecting your dash from the sun and your car from the heat, especially if you also have window vents which allow you to leave the windows cracked open a bit. Together with the window tints, these shades really help keep my car cool in the Texas sun. As a bonus, one of them also has a CD holder while the other has a car wallet. All that for only $13. If you decide to get them, be sure to get the larger size. See the back for list of cars that fit. |

Friends: 0 | [attachmentid=8209][attachmentid=8210][attachmentid=8211][attachmentid=8212]The wife made ours, bought a roll of the sunshade material at home depot 5-8.00 dollars and we had some left over gray auto upholstery material and she covered the interior side. so no scratches to the dash since it is covered on that side. and left the reflective side out. turned out very nice for lots less.$$$$$ I will post some pix later |
