Friends: 0 | I'm renovating a garage on the bottom floor of our split-level, turning it into a music parlor. OK, so I had the really long lumber, drywall, plywood, etc. delivered, but much of that wouldn't have fit in a truck anyways (without many, many trips). Since I'm new at DIY construction, I keep finding more things to go back for. Here was just one trip: 8 foot 2x4 lumber (probably could hold twenty or so) 3x5 cement board bag of concrete 2 bags blown insulation As you can see in the picture, there's a lot of room left! On a different trip, I brought home a pre-hung 32" exterior door (82" high). It hung out the back a bit, but worked perfect with bungie cords. I know someone had a post similar to this a few months ago, but thought it was worth repeating. The Prius has TONS of cargo space, depending on passengers. |
