Is it possible to get warrenty service at a non toyota dealership? How do you get Toyota to pay? I personally only give place one chance to give good service, if they don't care the first time, they will never care, and the dealer closest to me doesn't care. I would rather use a different brand shop then drive halfway across the city to use the dealer I bought from.

Toyota is going to pay for warranty work only at any Toyota dealer. The only exception might be if the nearest dealer is "too far" away and the circumstances are extraordinary. In that case I'd make sure the Toyota dealer or Toyota itself is making the call.

if you want the warranty, you've gotta go to the dealership. they have to be a toyota factory authorized service center, which you're really only going to find at a dealership.
