Someone cutting the grass along our road today with a bush hog kicked up a rock and burst the back bottom glass of our 07 Prius. My wife called and the glass (or glass and installation) is $800. Anyone else had to do this?

That sounds like an insurance claim against the operator of the bush hog. Fortune has smiled on me and I have had no windows destroyed. The destroyer should pay for the new window, not you!

Upon calling Toyota, the glass is actually $263. I think the shop my wife called quoted their inflated price for both of the back glasses. The bush hog operator is going to pay for it.

If bush hog oper is paying for it, have the dealer fix it. I don't think there is anything special about that peice of glass besides the defroster.

Dealer will send it out to someone. I've already set that up with someone that they would have used.
