Hi new member here, been reading the site for a few months now.

Just bought a 07 black prius, awesome car..love it.

why i bought black? dunno pain in the butt, but worth it!

Anyway on my old Elantra i ran a red top for 4 years that i had the car, never once died on me. Great batteries.

Do they make one for the prius? After trading my car in, i removed the redtop and put it in the garage for prius use. Wont fit though

Only concerned because i've read quite a few bad stories on here about the 12v dieing either due to doors ajar, or just happening for no apparent reason.

Had the car a 46 days now, only complaint i have is the stock sound is not up to par, i listen to mostly Drum n bass, and metal, etc. Sounds like a boom box..

plan to upgrade that soon enough though.

Welcome to PriusChat. You don't need the cranking power of a red top, yellow will work fine. Take a look at Hobbit's battery discussion.
