Extended warranty - Toyota vs. third party

Has anyone purchased an extended warranty for their Prius through a third party such as Warranty Direct (recommended on carbuyingtips.com)? What are the pros and cons of a third party extended warranty versus Toyota's, other than price? Thanks!
