Friends: 0 | Going to Europe for 2 weeks and am wondering if the red blinking Theft Deterrent light could drain my battery on my 2007 Prius while I'm gone. Someone told me I could take out the fuse for it, but not clear which one it is and don't I want the theft deterrent on while it's left in airport parking? |

Friends: 0 | No, not in two weeks. Maybe in two years, but then self-discharge would drain the battery sooner. If you have the Smart Key System (and who doesn't these days) turn it off. |

Friends: 22 | I thought that SKS came with the 2008 package 2 (it did on my 2007 package 2). Last edited by Boo; 03-20-2008 at 04:03 PM. |

Friends: 5 | Boo, I bought my Prius directly off the lot. It had some of the package 2 features, but no all of them. After the sales-woman did the charade of going back & forth to the "manager" who (if he/she existed) was behind closed doors -- it was determined that the car was the "Economy" model, having some, but not all pkg. #2 features. |

Friends: 0 | Some package features but not all of them? How does that happen? Was it sold to you as a new car? |
