Friends: 0 |  Prius = hood chip magnet? Is the Prius more likely to get hood chips or do I just have bad luck? I've got 2500 miles of careful driving and found two dingers on my hood today. I am going to get the clear 3M bra, but I put the audio upgrade first on my modlist. I drove my Escort 10 years with 4 chip marks, is the Prius a chip magnet or did I just run into a bad spell? |

Friends: 0 | Re: Prius = hood chip magnet? I notice quite a few Prius around the Mall and such, and they all have significant hood chips, some even dings, that are actually dented. I think it's a combination of the blunt leading edge of the hood, and light material. Some kind of protection is a must. |

Friends: 2 | Re: Prius = hood chip magnet? In 2 years no chips or dents but more scratches than I can count on the fenders. Something crossed my bumper resulting is some scuffs and a gouge to the VentureShield but no paint damage. I have one door ding from the office parking lot. |
