Friends: 0 | I've read elsewhere on this site that comnpressable gaskets should be changed everytime the oil is changed (i.e., insterted between the plug and the bottom of the oil pan). I just did my first oil change and found no such gasket on the plug shank. Are these gaskets required on the '04 Prius or just on earlier models? |

Friends: 0 | it was stuck on the oilpan or came off when the oil was draining out. You should definitly check and confirm that there is a gasket between the plug and the pan. If there isn't you'll have a leak and the plug can possible work it's way out. NOT a good thing. |
