Friends: 0 |  Front door hinge/stop loosens When I park on even a slight up-slope, the door slams on me before I can get into the driver's seat. The other doors don't do this. The dealer replaced it once, and it was fine for a while, but after just a few months, this one is too loose, too. Anyone else experience this? Were you able to really fix it? |

Friends: 44 | Re: Front door hinge/stop loosens I've noticed this on my 2004 but it hasn't bothered me enough to do anything about it. You will probably have to replace the front door check assembly again. If you plan to DIY this will require removing the door's interior trim panel for access. |

Friends: 0 | Re: Front door hinge/stop loosens It was replaced under warranty the first time, and I think it will be again, as long as I do it soon! It really bothers me because the door slams and catches my purse, or my skirt, or sometimes even my leg (ouch!)! |
