Friends: 0 | After reading other posts, I have not found the answer to my question. I want the tires for slightly better handling with more rubber on the road. I don't want the extra miles on the odo or drive with speedo a speed slightly faster than I am traveling. I don't know if there are wheel sensors that can measure the circumference travel and update the computer during re-calibration or if the calibration will only reset the 24.4 diameter of the stock 185/65/15 tires? Thank you in advance for the information

Friends: 33 | The difference to the US standard 185 - 65h 15 is tiny so I don't believe you need to change anything. This (195 x 60 x 15 is the standard tyre size in markets outside North America except Europe where 16 inch wheels are standard. Friends: 0 | Yeah I guess you are right. I am worried about putting 1000 extra miles on the odo over 100,000...that will be the day that I make tires last that long. On another thread an owner states he has over 100k miles on his Michelin Hydroedges...Unbelievable. Are your tires the 195/60-15 down in OZ? I saw your mileage on another thread so I know that size won't cause a substantial hit to mpg/kpg. Cheers. |
