Friends: 0 | I searched here using different terms, read all 11 pages of hits, did RTFM, tried resetting the display function, but still couldn't find the answer. I'm sure it's around here somewhere. I was playing with the MID buttons and in Display Mode selected Off. Now the only time the display appears is when I select one of the side pod switches (except for Display, oddly enough), but then it goes blank after about 10 seconds. It sure would help to have the Consumption Screen (and all the others) up and always on again. Anyone have the fix? TIA...

Friends: 23 | I often turn my display off but when I hit the steering wheel "Info" button, it always comes back to life. And stays on with no problem. Perhaps the difference is that you are using the MFD side-buttons. Try the steering wheel buttons. Than again, without the manual or car right in front of me, is this a display setting? Something you set in the four pages of settings on th MFD? Just a thought or two. |

Friends: 0 | Thanks, Tony, but this is an AM Package non-Nav car, no Info button on the wheel. I got to the setting using the Display switch (top right outside of the screen proper). The Info switch has Screen Settings other than Display Off. It's odd that pressing the Display Off button brought up by the Display switch doesn't then offer a Display On button. |
