Default 2004 prius trouble shutting down

Dear members,

Several months ago I had to replace the auxilliary battery because it drained out.
Now when i turn off the car it instead shuts down and starts again in the exclamation mode (warning light).
It stays idle and then I have to perform a second attempt ....The prius will then turn off.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Also I have noticed two codes show when I attached OBDII diagnostic scanner. I cant recall the codes currently...

is the ground terminal connected properly? one reason a prius will restart itself is that the ground is loose.

Ground connection was not the problem. It happened to be 099 code and the dealer fixed because under warranty.
099 code stipulates that the PCM which is computer system was not talking with something in the car.
That is, it need to be readjusted (put back in place) according to the mechanic at the toyota dealer. Cost zero because this under warranty.

Thanx...
