Friends: 0 |  Good Independent Mechanic in Ft. Lauderdale, FL area? Hi, All you Broward County Florida Prius owners! Do you have a good independent mechanic who does the routine maintenance every few 1000 miles on your car? I'm tired of taking mine to the Prius dealership where I'm certain the charges are higher than with a regular mechanic, but am uneasy about going to just anyone.
