Friends: 0 | Wouldn't that be covered under the 8/100,000 warranty? Inverter is part of the Hybrid system, and it can't run without the inveerter coolant pump. My understanding was that the extension was for all hybrid relared parts? |

Friends: 26 | yep, those fail from time to time, DH replaced a handful of them. it's covered under powertrain warranty- 5/60. |

Friends: 0 | My inverter coolant pump quit just as I was accelerating to get on the freeway. The dealer said that the mechanical pump was leaking too. Since I'm way out of warranty with 135,000 miles on my 04 it cost $1,000 for parts and labor. |
